It is said that this is the best free upgrade of the year. There are a lot of new features to be explored. Below are a few we'd like to show you. If you have not updated to the new IOS 11, it is always recommended that you backup your iPhone or iPad first. This is always a good habit regardless if you are doing an update or not.
1. New Control Center
The redesigned control center that you swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access, has all the settings you use the most in one convenient place and it is customizable.
2. Scan Documents Using the Notes App
Scanning documents has been integrated into the Notes app so there is no need to download a 3rd party app for this capability. If there’s a receipt, business card, or any other document you want to save or mark up, using the Notes app to scan is quick and easy.
3. QR Code Scanning
You no longer need to use 3rd party apps for QR scanning, IOS 11 gives you the ability to scan QR codes directly from the Camera app:
Open your Camera app > focus your camera on the QR code > A notification banner will appear at the top of the screen with the information provided in the QR code.
4. One Handed Keyboard
Plus size iPhones have the option for the keyboard to be moved to the left or right of your screen for typing with one hand. If you long press (hold down) the emoji key you can select your preference.
5. Type to Siri
No need for talking to Siri where others can hear you. You can now type out questions.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Siri > Type to Siri (Switch On)
