MANAGED IT SERVICES SALES REPRESENTATIVE

 

JOB TITLE: MANAGED IT SERVICES SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Only local candidates need to apply.

SALARY BASE AND UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS- PLUS BONUS STRUCTURE

POSITION OVERVIEW: Kappa is seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team. The sales representative will be responsible for finding, developing, and selling new prospects on our Managed IT Services and Cloud Server Hosting platforms. The individual in this role will responsible for nurturing potential new clients through our purchase flow from start to finish. Your success will be based on selling to C-level executives of small to medium-sized businesses in a competitive market with a 3–6-month sales cycle. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability. This is a sales role with unlimited upside potential.

In order to be effective in this role, it is required to have a deep understanding of Managed IT Services, sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. It requires an unparalleled level of professionalism and communication abilities to inspire confidence.

 

TYPICAL WORK WEEK:

45%        Working on New Leads

30%        Meeting and Following Up with Potential New Clients

20%        Preparing Quotes

  5%         Internal Meetings

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate new sales opportunities by prospecting using phone calls, emails, and other tactics.

  • Be willing to effectively prospect via telephone, live events, meetings, social media, and whatever other methodologies are most effective to help you fill the pipeline.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products and services that Kappa offers to our clients.

  • Develop a network of partners who can refer you when opportunities arise. Educate them on what makes us special and look for mutual opportunities.

  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers. Educate them on how you can help solve their business problems with technology solutions.

  • Reach or exceed daily and weekly quotas for dials, conversations, & qualified leads generated.

  • Manage the lead generation process, starting with initial contact, lead nurturing and lead qualification, and ending with the transition of qualified leads.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities through the company’s CRM.

  • Generate high-quality leads that result in a high percentage of conversion to Closed / Won Revenue.

  • Work with senior management, negotiate, and provide all follow-up to deliver signed contracts.

  • Schedule sales appointments and activities.

  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.

  • Weekly Meetings with Sales manager weekly for updates and reviews.

  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new customers.

  • Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship.

  • Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team.

  • Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value.

  • Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction.

  • Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales.

  • Continuously improve through feedback.

 

YOU ARE RIGHT FOR KAPPA IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge and understanding of PCs, networks, servers, routers, switches, storage devices, and wireless access points.

  • You must be able to adequately demonstrate, in the interview process, a history of success in selling.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.

  • Presentable and confident in face-to-face meetings.

  • Able to build rapport quickly over the phone or face to face.

  • Solid closing track record.

  • Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.

  • Proven track record in the Managed IT sales environment.

  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota.

  • Ability to create and deliver client presentations.

  • Expert in time management and personal organization.

  • Experience using a CRM system to track, maintain, and organize their prospects, leads, and clients.

  • Strong organizational aptitude, the ability to work without direct oversight.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation.  This position will require frequent local travel.

  • Applicant selected will be subject to a criminal, employment, credit, and motor vehicle background check.

  • 3+ years of B2B solution-selling technology, Managed IT Services, Cloud, CyberSecurity Subscriptions.

  • Marketing Experience to generate campaigns.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education diploma in business, sales, marketing, or management.
